This visual was created to be featured in the first exhibition of the “Chaos” series at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Danubiana Museum, in Bratislava, Slovakia, in May 2013. The photograph, titled “My Life On The Web,” highlights the impact of the internet today, which imposes a kind of “dictatorship of freedom” and demands transparency. The internet opens new perspectives, unprecedented forms of expression, and alternative modes of exchange. It signals the end of modesty and secrets, introducing an era of pleasure in self-surveillance. Through this image, Rancinan aims to raise these essential questions.
