Isabelle Huppert, born March 16, 1953 in Paris, is one of the most acclaimed actresses in French cinema. Making her debut in the 1970s, she quickly captivated audiences with her versatile talent and ability to embody complex roles.

Werner Schroeter born April 7, 1945, died April 12, 2010, was a German film and stage director, known for his avant-garde approach and bold exploration of human emotions. Active in both film and theater, Schroeter began his career in the 1960s, making his mark with films such as “Der Tod der Maria Malibran” and “Palermo oder Wolfsburg”.

His frequent collaboration with actress Magdalena Montezuma was a defining feature of his work. Through a distinctive visual aesthetic and often provocative themes, Schroeter established his reputation as a visionary artist, winning international awards for his innovative and often emotionally charged works. His artistic legacy remains influential in the world of German auteur cinema.
