Rosé and Pastis Parisian Apéro

Every evening from 5 PM, it’s time for Rosé and Pastis apéro! Come toast and discuss art and photography with the artists present in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. You can raise your glass under the magnificent portrait of Gainsbourg by Arnaud Baumann and enjoy an apéro blessed by the Jesus of Dina Goldstein. The bravest among you can even try to strike the same poses as Louis Blanc in his self-portraits. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind after a busy day, explore our gallery, and admire magnificent works. And who knows, after one or two drinks, you might discover a hidden talent for art criticism… or for jokes!

The Rencontres d’Arles, created in 1970, is the largest photography festival in Europe, taking place throughout the city of Arles. Although our gallery is smaller, we are excited to offer you a glimpse of this incredible experience here in Paris. Zuanazzi Deborah - Artist and photographer

Deborah Zuanazzi

Deborah Zuanazzi, born in 1995 in Italy, is a fine art photographer with Italian roots. From an early age, Deborah exhibited a natural creative talent, which guided her towards the arts during her high school years, eventually leading to a degree in Art Restoration. Despite her classical education, Deborah discovered her true artistic expression through photography, which she uses as a compelling medium to communicate her emotions and ideas. Deborah refined her skills at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, where she studied New Technologies of Art. Throughout her academic journey, she began to earn recognition for her work, securing several international awards. Her first major achievement came with a win at the Nikon Photo Contest in 2016/2017. Her deep background in traditional art and art history profoundly shapes her photographic approach. Deborah's work is characterized by its surreal and chiaroscuro elements, resulting in images that are both evocative and visually arresting. Post-production is a critical part of her creative process, allowing her to further develop and perfect her photographs. Currently residing in Turin, Deborah continues to follow her passion as a Fine Art Photographer and Digital Artist. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she is also the Head of Design for a creative agency based in London, skillfully balancing her dual roles with exceptional commitment.

Mathilde Oscar

Mathilde Oscar was born in Paris in 1980, and lives and works in Cannes. She is a multifaceted artist whose artistic evolution is as fascinating as it is diverse. Her artistic journey is an odyssey that fuses a passion for painting, in-depth study of art history, graphic design and photography, ultimately giving birth to a singular visual language. In the beginning, Mathilde Oscar explored the intricacies of painting, a medium that captured her heart and mind. This period was an enriching exploration of creativity, shaping her artistic perception. Art history became her ally, offering her a deep understanding of the classic masters of past centuries. Over the years, Mathilde broadened her creative horizon to immerse herself in the world of graphic design. This immersion was a transformative period in which she honed her mastery of shapes, colors and visual compositions. However, it was only the prelude to a more significant metamorphosis. In 2013, self-taught, she chose photography as a means of expression, offering a new canvas for her pictorial ideas, deeply rooted in artistic movements from the Renaissance to Neo-Classicism. In her photographs, Mathilde Oscar succeeds in capturing a striking atmosphere, giving her works an almost quasi-pictorial quality to her work. Her creative process frequently involves the meticulous fabrication of sets, costumes and props, although some of her inspirations can consist of digital elements that harmonize with her photographic composition. What really sets Mathilde apart is her talent for interweaving the codes of classical painting with contemporary photography and pop culture. Her portraits are often anachronistic and offbeat conventions that seem suspended in an elusive space-time, while at the same time abounding in subtle references to art history. Her artistic universe is one of great variety: sometimes romantic, sometimes imbued with surrealismmarked by a subtle dash of humor. The characters she captures become timeless icons, while her female portraits take on a Madonna-like aura, and her male figures (which she takes pleasure in reinventing as feminine) seem to revisit Christ-like archetypes. In short, Mathilde Oscar is an artist who transcends artistic boundaries, fusing past and present painting and photography, to create a captivating visual world.

Gerard Rancinan

Gérard Rancinan is a major figure in contemporary photography whose work transcends the bounds of mere images, engaging in an ongoing dialogue with society. Born in 1953, he began his career as a photojournalist before shifting towards a more artistic approach in the 1990s. His works, exhibited in prestigious museums and galleries worldwide, such as the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Milan Triennale, and the Shanghai Himalayas Museum, are recognized for their monumental aesthetics and critical engagement. Rancinan uses photography to question the excesses and contradictions of contemporary society. His style is marked by meticulous staging, which, combined with a narrative dimension, depicts a world where modern myths, social tensions, and cultural transgressions collide. His series, such as La Trilogie des Modernes and Métamorphoses, have received wide acclaim, and he has won numerous prestigious awards, including several World Press Photo awards. As a true "awakened witness to the transformations of our Humanity," Rancinan is also one of the most highly-rated French photographers at auction, with works reaching record prices, especially in sales in London and Paris. In 2014, he was ranked among the most influential visual artists worldwide. His approach does not simply capture the moment; it transcends it to reveal disturbing truths about our era, making his work both profoundly artistic and intellectually subversive.

Anna Laza

Anna Laza, an influential visual artist in the field of art photography, weaves a tapestry of innovative styles through her lens. Her projects delve deeply into the realms of shooting and post-production, creating a unique fusion of technique and emotion. Acclaimed internationally, her work has not only been exhibited worldwide but has also won numerous prestigious awards, including honors at renowned competitions such as LensCulture. Anna's art finds its place in the pages of esteemed photography magazines, and her keen eye is often sought for inclusion in prestigious juries at photographic events. Beyond her personal creations, Anna is the visionary behind FotoSlovo, a magazine dedicated to discovering and celebrating emerging talents in photography each year. Her project "Story of Love" is a poetic exploration of the silent eloquence of human hands, expressed through the timeless medium of black-and-white photography. Here, hands become the sole protagonists, with each gesture revealing a chapter in the intricate tapestry of human emotions and relationships. In this collection, Anna captures the raw and tactile essence of emotions—affection, trust, unity, and even anger. Each photograph is a narrative in itself, depicting the universal story of human connection through the language of physical touch. "Story of Love" is a celebration of the timeless bonds that unite us all, capturing the universal language of touch in its purest and most expressive form. Through her lens, Anna Laza invites us to witness the profound beauty and complexity of human interaction, offering a glimpse into this silent yet eloquent language that speaks volumes about our shared humanity.

Louis Blanc

French photographer Louis Blanc was born in 1956 and has been living in Toulouse for over a decade. Blanc was never formally educated in photography and mastered his technique entirely himself. He would post his work in photography forums and enter contests. From the 1980’s to the 2000’s he experimented with different cameras including a Minolta and a digital compact. After spending some time perfecting his craft, and gaining vast experience, he decided to upgrade with an SLR in 2010. With his new equipment, he was able to hone in on his primary interests and birthed his project CORpuS in 2011. The idea for this series came to him after winning a competition on a forum. CORpuS was an enlightening experience for Blanc, as he came to realize the image of the body was something that evoked a lot of emotion and deep thought. As we can see, the images from CORpuS, bear a neutral background, because the contorted body is more than enough to summon conviction. Blanc’s artistic process begins with an unrefined idea, a bit like a brainstorm, but the end result is the culmination of many shots and redirections, making it intentional and unplanned at the same time. In addition, Blanc doesn’t avoid placing the body in disturbing poses. Actually, most of the images in CORpuS, push the boundaries of the human body. The images were made of himself, using a self-timer and remote control. Louis Blanc has been emerging in the photography world for the past decade, and his work doesn’t come without praise. In 2014, he joined the community of artists supported by Maecene Arts. The CORpuS series became well-known all over France, being published in numerous magazines including La Provence and Réponses Photo. Over the years, this series has been a part of 40+ exhibitions internationally, including France, Russia, New York, Japan, Italy and Prague. He was also published in Monaco’s Monaco Culture and Switzerland’s Geneva Tribune. It goes without saying that the world should keep an eye out for what Louis Blanc will do next.

Clara Diebler

Born in Paris to a German family, Clara Diebler delved into the magical world of film photography from a young age. Her curious and explorative spirit led her to overlay two negatives, revealing a rich and enigmatic parallel universe. Since this discovery, Clara has been weaving her own visual world, taking us on a journey where every element seems interconnected by invisible threads of poetry and mystery. With a unique sensitivity, Clara Diebler skillfully blends nudes, portraits, architectural structures, and floral patterns, creating a striking visual alchemy. Each photograph becomes a fusion of two visions: that of the model and that of the photographer, of those who see and those who feel. Through her lens, she captures and elevates this intrinsic duality, this romantic and universal femininity that lies within each of us. Her work is a delicate dance between feminine essence and universality, while maintaining a distinct singularity marked by an original vision. Anachronistic and melancholic, raw and splendid, Clara Diebler's aesthetic is an invitation to view the world in a new light, to discover the hidden beauty in the duality of human existence. Each of Clara's photographs is a window into a waking dream, where the past and present intertwine, where softness meets brutality, and where melancholy transforms into magnificence. Through her gaze, she offers us an intimate and universal perspective, reminding us that beauty lies in the contrasts and secret harmonies of the world.

Idan Wizen

Idan Wizen is a photographer whose work focuses on the diversity, beauty of humanity, and individual freedom explored in various forms. Owner of the art gallery Studio Idan, located in the heart of Paris, he dedicates his time and energy primarily to his art, aiming to capture authentic and intimate moments through his lens. Born in 1984 in Tel Aviv, Idan pursued a rich and varied artistic path, honing his craft in Paris, where he eventually established his own studio. His flagship project, "Who’s That Nude In The Living Room?", reflects his passion for photography and commitment to representing human diversity. This ambitious project gathers thousands of portraits of people from all walks of life, each celebrating the unique beauty of the individual. Individual freedom is a key theme in Idan's work, explored in various forms across his pieces. His collection "Hinders" is a notable example, addressing personal and societal constraints that shape our lives. His photographs capture the essence of his subjects, highlighting their uniqueness and humanity with great sensitivity. Idan has held over 50 exhibitions in France, the USA, and Japan, sharing his work with an international audience. His works have been widely recognized and awarded, receiving numerous international photography prizes. The art gallery Studio Idan is more than just an exhibition space. It is a place of sharing and discovery, where Idan showcases not only his own works but also those of other artists who share a similar vision of art and humanity. Idan Wizen continues to explore and push the boundaries of photography, always seeking to capture the essence of his subjects with respect and depth. His work offers a new and inclusive perspective on human beauty and diversity, celebrating individual freedom and authenticity.
